Marriott held a conference of thousands of employees in New Orleans and wanted a way to engage all of them in volunteering activities in one day throughout the city. This was a daunting task, as there were about 3,500 volunteers.
Solutions
Spirit to Serve was contracted NetWork Volunteers, and we went to work. We organized a day of service for the 3,500 volunteers that included projects with over 30 local organizations throughout Central City, projects completed in the Convention Center, and a resource fair.
